Towards Happy Housework: Scenario-Based Experience Design for a Household Cleaning Robotic System

INTRODUCTION: In the interwoven trend of experience economy and advanced information technology, user becomes substantial value an interactive system. As one early innovations a smart home, current design household cleaning robots is still driven by technology with focus on pragmatic quality rather than experiential robotic system.OBJECTIVES: This paper aims to uplift vision robot from automatic appliance towards meaningful system engaging users in happy housework.METHODS: Theoretically, scenario-based methods were combined into specific framework for domestic systems. Based study analysis, we first set three goals (immersion, trust, inspiration) drive process, then chose 3D point cloud AI recognition as backup technologies afterwards extracted main scenarios (scanning mapping, intelligent cleaning, live control).RESULTS: The features multi-view switching, combination animation rendering real scene, fixed-point map management, lens control flexible remote, shooting modes are proposed. Seventy-one participants evaluated concept online AttrakDiff questionnaires. results indicate targeted fulfilled concept.CONCLUSION: By integrating designers can envision life potentially expand opportunity space
